The importance of our tradition
For us, producing wine is first of all a tradition: our grandfathers did it, we saw our fathers doing it. It has been their experience to animate our passion, to guide us through our first steps, to support us when we accomplished our first bottling. We’re two sisters, for this reason in Sardinian “Sorres”, and we chose to give life to a winery that was a summary of familiar knowledge that is passed on through generations and our culture made of professionalism and innovation.
Our goal has always been producing a refined wine, expression of the land in which it is born, Romangia, Sardinia’s historical region in the northwest and land of great wines with high alcoholic strength.
The privileged place where our wine is born is in our winery’s vineyard, and there is becomes a quality product, result of hard work in contact with the land and careful care for the vine and its fruits.
Our Eco-Friendly Philosophy
We chose to be interpreters of a sustainable type of agriculture, capable of respecting and preserving the environment and the land in which it operates.
Ours is an integrated production system, with low environmental impact, and provides the coordinated and rational use of all the possible natural resources, as to reduce to the minimum the use of technical instruments, like pesticides, potentially harmful for the environment and health.
We believe that a quality wine is born first of all in the vineyard, this is why we entrust it to the knowledgeable hands of man: to trim the vines one to one, to harvest and to select our product.
The cannonau wine we suggest is born in our land and it keeps its scent, then it transforms in the winery and becomes a high quality wine.
Pensamentu is dedicated to those who love quality wines, to those who search for a unique and authentic product in their glass, result of a process that respects nature and identity.
